Dangerous Driving
Dangerous driving is a serious offence under the Criminal Code. The penalties for a dangerous driving conviction are therefore quite severe. If you are convicted of this offence, you will automatically receive a minimum one-year driving prohibition in British Columbia, under the Motor Vehicle Act. You may also receive a Canada-wide driving prohibition under the Criminal Code, a monetary fine, and, in more serious cases, a jail sentence.
Just a few moments of inattention while driving can potentially result in a charge of dangerous driving. If you have been charged with dangerous driving, our lawyers can help. Call us today to discuss your case in a free and confidential consultation.
